Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Victoria L. Women's Holistic Health Strategies. I am so happy to be here again with you this week and I'm continuing to talk about the woo stuff. So we talked last week about how, you know, I'm just going for, I'm stepping back. I don't care. I am putting my woo back out there, right? So this week I wanted to talk about manifestations, affirmations, and how the idea that our thoughts actually create the reality around us.

Now you've probably heard all of these terms before. They're being tossed around like nobody's business lately. And I'm sure many times you've maybe rolled your eyes at them or you felt like that's a bunch of bullshit. And I'll be honest, for a long time, I kind of felt the same way. I can remember seeing posts on Instagram about people like, I manifested a million dollars. And I'm like, oh my God, these people are ridiculous.

Right? I really did, I'll be honest. I totally did the eye roll at this whole concept. But here's the thing. You guys know I've been on a really big journey the last couple years, really diving deep into these mystical practices or really finding out who I am, really digging into so many different things. And one of the things I've really been digging into is manifestation, affirmations, and all the woo -woo stuff, right?

So for years, for years, I dabbled in the idea that our thoughts become our reality. I have really been focusing on that for a long time, but I will admit that it wasn't until recently that I truly committed to honing in these skills and being more diligent and learning about them. So it's really been a transformation for me. It's been quite the journey and...

I will say one that has reshaped my perspective on all aspects of my life. And I admit, like I used to be super skeptical, like affirmations, just creating my reality, okay, whatever, right? You know, even though I would say them in my meditation practice, I don't think I really fully understood the power of what our thoughts are doing to us, because it all sounded a bit too out there.

for me and I couldn't, I at the time didn't know the science behind it. But then, you know, something shifted. I started to really dig into taking that responsible action for myself. I talk about the radical responsibility that we, you know, we can step up and step into being fully on 100 % responsible for all aspects of our life and taking that radical responsibility. And I began to see, I really saw,

how the changes I was making, the choices I was making, the thoughts that I was entertaining in my mind, the energy, the energy I was putting out that I was allowing in, how all these things that I was interacting in the energy of the world with were having these profound impacts on different areas of my life. And it was like this light bulb moment. I was like,

whoa, this stuff really works. And I started to notice these incidences where my thoughts were quite literally like manifesting reality right in front of me. So, okay, I'll share one example for you exactly how our thoughts can create or create or shift our reality in so many ways. So this particular example,

I had been reading an audio book, I guess not reading, I was listening to an audio book that was discussing power of thought, how power of thought shapes our lives and how, you know, we can use thoughts to change and shift so much of our lives. And I remember this one time, so the author was talking about his story about how he woke up one morning, he stubbed his toe, this grumpy,

stubbed toe led to a spiraling into a series of very unfortunate events for him and they were all fueled by the fact that he just kept getting grumpier and grumpier and grumpier every time something bad happened. So he takes a pause and he instead of wallowing in the negativity, he recalibrates his mindset and went about the day with this newfound sense of positivity and released all the grump from the toe being stubbed.

So little did I know, very, very soon after I had listened to this audio book, I had a very similar experience. I got out of bed in a rush and I kicked the wooden chest that we have at the end of our bed. It is quite the solid wood chest. Then I ended up tripping over the cat down the stairs. By the time I got to the kitchen, I was so grumpy.

and my coffee pot had actually not been put in the holder properly and I came down to a kitchen covered in coffee. Sound familiar? Like I was literally living out the author's tale in real time. But instead of succumbing to the frustration and getting angry and grumpy and being mad at the series of events that had just happened in my life, I decided, okay, I'm going to take a deep breath.

And I actually sat there and I kind of laughed at how absurd it was that I literally was living what I had just listened to a couple days before. And so I used his principles, I shifted my mindset, I cleared out the negative thoughts, you know, I just was like, fresh start, let's start again. I cleaned up the mess, I brewed another pot of coffee, and then I went about the day with...

a sense of gratitude that I was able to recalibrate this way. And you know what? The rest of the day was actually a really amazing day. I didn't have any more grumpy things happen to me whatsoever. And it's in these transformative moments that we have these profound realizations that wash over us like a wave that just like crashes in on the shore. We've...

feel and we realize in these moments, we have this amazing profound power within us. Our thoughts are far from these fleeting whispers that happened in our mind that just kind of get blown away on the wind. They are actually the archetypes that create our reality. When we think things, these things become our reality. And it's a realization that really transcends the boundaries of skepticism.

and dives into the full depths of our truths, right? Now imagine for a moment, every thought, every emotion, every intention we harbor within us has the potential to shape our world around us, okay? I don't know if you've seen the meme, but there's a meme of...

a cartoon meme of a guy on a train. There's two people, one guy's looking out the left window, other guy's looking out the right window. And they're looking at the same thing, but one guy decides it's a horrible scene and the other guy decides it's a beautiful scene. So the guy that's looking out the window at the horrible scene is miserable and upset, but the guy that's looking out at the beautiful scene is happy, but that's the same thing that they're looking at. It's all in how we...

perceive and how our thoughts create that reality that is around us. And it's really interesting to, if you take the moment to kind of see this in real life, right? It's not about bypassing the challenges. It's not about like, you know, pretending or creating a f***ing

false facade or creating a false positivity around everything. It's about embracing the full spectrum of our human experience. It's about acknowledging that obstacles happen, they are gonna come up, they are gonna arise. It's about feeling into the full depth of our emotions, right?

getting to know both the really amazing highs, the good big feelings, the woohoo feelings, as well as getting to know our own lows and embracing what comes with both of them. And it's about taking the responsibility for why those feelings are there and then consciously choosing how we respond. Okay, and this is something that I've really been...

been becoming aware of because for myself, I very easily fall into negative thought pattern, negative feelings around things. I can very easily go to that place of why is this happening to me as opposed to what can I learn from this moment? So for me, this has been a very difficult practice to try to

become aware of what my thoughts are around moments as they arise, right? And it's in this space of mindful awareness that the true magic of manifestation really starts to unfold. It's about peeling back the layers of the skepticism and kind of delving into the core truth, right? Our thoughts create our reality. Point blank.

It's what it is. Whether we realize it or not, we are constantly co -creating our experiences through the lens of our perceptions and our beliefs, right? Through the lens of our own experiences. And it's really an interesting thing to see, right? Because I recently had an opportunity where there was an incident that happened and I got to see,

how different people reacted in that situation, right? I got to see how some people were able to be like, fluff it off and be, okay, it is what it is. Let's move forward. No sense in dwelling. And I got to see how other people started to create this extreme narrative of negativity around that same instance. And the ones that were able to,

kind of feel into it. This moment sucks. It's bullshit. I don't like it, but there's nothing I can do at this moment to change it. So I'm going to move forward. They seem to be able to move back to a place of positivity, to being happy. And you know, their mind frame was completely different than those who created this negative bubble around the same circumstance.

those that were dwelling on it and this is horrible, this is bad, all these kind of things and not able to just feel into it and let it go. So it was really interesting to kind of be that observer to sit back and watch and that's a good way if you're skeptical, if you're skeptical on your thoughts create your reality, find these moments to just be an observer and watch how, watch how these things unfold, right? Watch how the

the lens of different people's perspectives and different people's beliefs create whole different experiences over the same situation. But here's the beauty of all of this. Once we embrace this fundamental truth that our thoughts create our reality, the possibilities become endless.

we step into a realm where the limitations of our mind completely dissolve, right? And we are free to sculpt our lives with intention, with authenticity, with abundance in any way that we so choose. Because here's the thing that we don't often realize. It's really hard for us to imagine something that we've never experienced, right?

So when you're creating these thoughts around, you know, you want a better life, let's say the money one is a big one. We do money a lot in these coaching courses because you know what, money is a big thing. It makes the world go round and for a lot of us, it never feels like we have enough. So when your thoughts around money are that there isn't enough, that there isn't an abundance of it, that...

You know, maybe you've only ever experienced in your lifetime, maybe $10 ,000 in your bank account at one time, and that's all you've ever experienced. So how are you supposed to think and create a reality where there's millions of dollars in your bank account, right? Because you've never experienced it. So it's hard for our thoughts and our reality to create something that we've never truly experienced. And that's where the affirmations really come into place because we...

can start to create affirmations that help us step up little bits at a time, right? We are able to step out of that limiting thought. So here's a really good example that I use when I'm working with people around this kind of stuff. You wanna take little steps, always little steps, because if you tell your subconscious mind that,

you know, you're going to be a millionaire next month. That does not sound realistic to your subconscious mind. Your mind is never, your mind has never experienced being a millionaire in a month. How are you gonna believe that? But maybe what you can believe is that you can manifest a little bit more abundance, right? What's the step here? I can manifest a payment. I can manifest,

somebody paying for my groceries, whatever it is, you start small. And then, like I said, like take the time to observe how these things unfold around you. Right? And it's a process and it's super woo. I know, I know it's super woo. But I really want you guys, I would love to hear from you guys and see like, are you stepping boldly into the manifesting magic? Are you?

willing to harness the power of your own thoughts to shape your reality? And are you willing to create around you something that resonates with your deepest desires? Are you willing to live your life with a sense of purpose, a sense of authenticity? Are you willing to remove your boundaries on your potential?

Right? Are you ready to do all these things? Are you ready to step up and to take that radical responsibility for who you are and how you are creating your own thoughts, your own thoughts are creating your reality around you. Right? And this is an amazing journey of self -discovery. It's amazing journey of transformation. It's something that we actually dig into.

when we go through the 28 day strategy course as well, because ladies, there's so many times in your cycle where your negative thoughts are gonna creep in because of the hormone imbalances and all the fun things that come along with it, right? And perimetapause brings all kinds of craziness. But if you're able to take that step back and be the observer and change the thought patterns that are coming through your head,

you are able to really unlock the infinite possibilities that you can work with your cycle to create. So.
