NICECREAM!

One of my FAVORITE things about Summer is ICE CREAM CONES! I love to grab a cool and refreshing cone as often as I can, or enjoy a made a home sunday with the fam jam.

Although I LOVE them, they don't often love me back. The sugars and dairy often trigger stomach upset, my ADHD (BIG TIME), and joint pain. So I try to limit this indulgence to when I know that I can "recover" the next day of so. Like a family outing to SCOOPS or the CARP CREAMERY on a Saturday, giving me sunday to recover my tummy.

I do love a cold, refreshing treat way to much to only have one every once in a while though. That's where NICECREAM comes in. This yummy treat is actually safe for my tummy, good for your body, and SUPER YUMMY! Plus it is really easy to WHIP UP when you have a craving for a cool refreshing treat.

Here's How to Make It

YOU WILL NEED (2-3 servings)

  • 1 banana (frozen is prefered)

  • 1 C of your FAV frozen Fruit ( I love strawberry)

  • 1 C Milk or Yogurt of your choosing (I like to do 1/2 milk 1/2 full fat greek yogurt)

  • 1 SCOOP of your Favorite tummy friendly Protein Powder (I use Doterra Vanilla Whey because it is sugars free, easy on my tummy, the best tasting one I have ever tried, and is not chalky at all)

WHAT YOU DO

  1. Assemble all the ingredients in your blender (or food processor)

  2. WIZZZZZ IT UP!

  3. Transfer to bowls

  4. Place in freezer for a couple minutes if you want it more FROZENER

  5. Top with your FAV toppings. I LOVE toasted coconut and fresh fruit on mine.

  6. ENJOY!!

I would love to hear what you think. Give it a try and let me know.
